Kosi “Anansi” Narh adopted his alias after an African trickster god known for using his cunning wit to overcome more powerful enemies. In the Akan language, Anansi literally translates to "Spider", which is the handle used by most of his edgerunner contacts. He is a former corporate operative who specializes in bypassing physical security to retrieve sensitive assets. Born within one of Biotechnica's agri-dome collectives in Ghana, Kosi Narh was raised by a collective of parents without ever knowing which ones were his true biological relatives. Per a series of reproductive clauses included in their contracts, children born to farm workers spent their initial years in one of the corp's early-developmental facilities. Groups of children were then anonymously re-introduced back into the collective around the age of 7.
