Cyberpunk - Anansi (Spider) - Part1 - Biotechnica
Kosi “Anansi” Narh adopted his alias after an African trickster god known for using his cunning wit to overcome more powerful enemies. In the Akan language, Anansi literally translates to "Spider", which is the handle used by most of his edgerunner contacts. He is a former corporate operative who specializes in bypassing physical security to retrieve sensitive assets. Born within one of Biotechnica's agri-dome collectives in Ghana, Kosi Narh was raised by a collective of parents without ever knowing which ones were his true biological relatives. Per a series of reproductive clauses included in their contracts, children born to farm workers spent their initial years in one of the corp's early-developmental facilities. Groups of children were then anonymously re-introduced back into the collective around the age of 7. I've been carving out more time to focus on my art in recent days. Family and work always take priority and those have obviously been consuming more time during the global pandemic. It's been a challenge to focus on being creative with all of the chaos that's been occurring around us. I feel like I've consumed more news in the past year than I did during the entire rest of my existence. Things are looking up though and each day feels like we're moving more and more towards normal. One thing I haven't needed to sacrifice is my weekly-ish pen-and-paper role playing game sessions. We've had a surprisingly easy transition to running them over Zoom. It hasn't worked for all our group members but I've found it to be cathartic to still be able to meet with my friends on a regular basis. I've even been able to catch up with some who have moved or are normally occupied other weekend activities. As such, I've built up a collection of character images from the games I've played in or
